Tax Free Weekend Round Up

Prior to moving to Florida (now Texas) I had absolutely no idea what “Tax Free Weekend” was! Back in New Jersey we didn’t have sales tax on our clothing so everyday was tax free! I only learned about it one year while working retail and it wound up being one of our biggest volume weekends. This year was my first time in four years not actually working this weekend, so I set out to go participate instead.

Express - I purchased two Lace Neck Cami’s (They remind me of the cami’s from Nordstrom) & one pair of cheetah shoes. I can’t even tell you how many cheetah shoes I own, but these are SO comfortable and the pattern is a little different from the others I own.

J.Crew Factory - This was the last stop of my little excursion so I limited myself to only getting ONE item. I love the way their jeans fit so a nice pair of black jeans for the win! I am a size 31 for reference in this store.

NordstromRack - Ya’ll I love a me a good Norddie find! I don’t shop to much at their regular store (unless it’s for shoes) but I always hit the jackpot at The Rack! I found a super cute camo printed jacket. It’s sold out in Missy sizes but I found a similar one here. I also purchased a pearl headband, however I couldn’t find it on the website but you can purchase a whole pack from Amazon!

Banana Republic: I am all about the mid skirt trend right now! I have quite a few - and of course I had to add a snake print to my collection! I came across this adorable print from Banana.. however majority of the sizes are sold out so here is a similar one available at Target. I also snagged a plain black tee while I was there!

Altar’d State - I absolutely love this store! When I moved to Texas and found out about it, I was in awe! It’s got such cute product and their mission behind the brand is exactly what the world needs right now. I found a cute oversized tee from their 10-22 size collection (which was recently launched!) I also snagged two cute bow headbands & a DFW dad hat!

I linked (majority) of what I purchased here but you can also shop through my LikeToKnowIt! How did you make out during your Tax Free Weekend? I can’t wait transition all of these pieces into the fall season! Happy shopping ya’ll.
